Lights Out For the Youth was founded in 2025 to accomplish two goals:

1. To raise awareness about the housing issues facing young people in our community, and
2. Raise money to address those needs.

Thanks to financial support from the St. John’s Foundation and individual sponsors, 100% of 2025 and 2026 donations will be directed to the Wallflower Project, a local organization that provides shelter and care to homeless youth in Northfield.

15 to 30 Northfield youth between the ages of 16-24 face housing insecurity every night. They find shelter with friends, neighbors, or… not at all. Our long-term goal is to provide safe, warm, and comfortable places for each of these young people.
